The EXPLORE! Program was founded in 2008 through the Feinstein Institute at Providence College. EXPLORE! is a college access and readiness program for 9th and 10th grade students. The program includes weekly on-site visits from Providence College students and various special events throughout the academic year. The weekly programming is structured around a unique college readiness curriculum. Special events include a trip to the Dunkin' Donuts Center to attend a Men's Friars Basketball Game, College Visits, a Shadowing Day at Providence College and a two-day content-oriented Workshop Program.

The mission of the EXPLORE! program is to promote awareness of, access to and readiness for college and career among first-generation local high school students while, at the same time, supporting and enhancing the educational experience of Providence College students.
